Heheheheh.
Exercise: You need to kill a final boss ASAP because of a flood of reinforcements. Your main character is not competent to do so with his Legendary Weapon because you're pretty sure he got Str-screwed. (I seem to remember him having below 20 Str AFTER his first promotion. What?!) You have the following items:
A superpowered hellbeast who's capped almost all his stats;
A dancer;
An unused pair of Boots.
How do you beat this level? ;)

Cordelia: Battles 264, Victories 176
Nils (Avatar): Battles 265, Victories 186
Donnell: Battles 350, Victories 219
Yep, I named my avatar Nils! 8D Looks just like him, too. Use the shortest build and go hunting for the hair and color that matches ol' Nils. (And his father was even the main villain! XD DAMN, was that ever an appropriate Avatar.)
And, yes. As a level 20/20/3 Great Knight, Chrom has 29 Strength. May I remind you, that totals to 19+19+2=40 levels. Chrom starts with 7 Strength. He has 60% growth as a Lord/Great Lord, so he should have gained 22.8 Strength off those levels alone. As a Great Knight, he has 65% growth, so he should have gained 1.3 Strength. He is supposed to gain 5 STR when promoting to Great Knight, according to Serene's Forest.
HE SHOULD HAVE HAD 36.1 STR AT THAT LEVEL.
No WONDER a dopey farm kid with the legendary axe could deal more damage than the Exalt wielding the blade supposedly possessing the power to take down the Dark Dragon! Chrom was thoroughly screwed!
His speed, meanwhile, is 26. So we calculate his speed, aaand... He's supposed to have 29.9 Spd. *facepalm* Oh, lordy...
Here's his stats, in case you're wondering.
Chrom 20/20/3 Lord/Great Lord/Great Knight: HP 64, Str 29, Mag 3, Skill 32, Spd 26, Luck 36, Def 27, Res 14
EXPECTED stats: HP 62.2, Str 36.1, Mag 4, Skill 32.9, Spd 29.9, Luck 33, Def 32.1, Res 12
...I'm not mad, actually, I'm just LMAO. Chrom... was one of your ancestors Eliwood of Pherae, by any chance?

So, anyway, now I'm starting a new run! This time it's Female!Avatar, and I'm going for Chrom/Olivia. Haven't decided who marries this Avatar yet.Lord Eliwood of Pherae is not an option, alas. She will have to find true love elsewhere. And Nils approves.
Third run will have Avatar/Chrom, so I'll have to figure out another female character I want to emulate. ;) But I'm getting ahead of myself...
