Because with Cori I always got the idea that Destiny was responsible for everything good or bad in their lives, but especially the good later on what with everyone commenting on how their love and friendship was "meant to be" because OMG MY DADDY MET YOUR GRANDPA or shit like that.
Both. Cori gives credit to all of Team Rocket's hard work, persistence, and brilliance for their successes, then whines like mad whenever they fail. The relationship stuff may be destiny, but the rest seems not to be.
