In summary:

Actual Run: Everybody got out alive! :D :D :D
Botched-up epilogue: Yulong, I'm so sorry
...Also violated the first-Pokemon-seen rule, but in-story, Syaoran wasn't capturing it to use in battle, but to seal it away for good. I'll make a note in the narration that he had to run from several wild Pokemon on the home stretch of his pursuit of Mewtwo, but have him say it was necessary for the sake of the mission. That's part of why it will be non-canon - it's not part of the actual Nuzlocke run.
...It was intended to be, but gah, those L60+ Pokemon were NOT in the plan. And nor was that blasted critical Psychic Yulong I'm sorry -
...It's funny, though - he's the one Pokemon I can excuse away with Ascended To A Higher Plane Of Existence, because he's been the mystical dragon-carp from the start. (Technically, Cthulhu the Snorlax could have also received a not-fatal leave of absence, but the implications of Mewtwo incapacitating Cthulhu are probably not pleasant to contemplate. In that sense, Yulong really is the only Pokemon who would have worked.)

...Well, he's alive in the official-run canon. D: That's what matters to me! He stayed alive while the formal Nuzlocke rules were in place! That's what counts!

And I could have taken Mewtwo on in battle with minimal causalities if I'd wanted to fight him one-on-one! (In all seriousness, Reservoir removed a third of his HP just faffing about with Ice Beam's 10 PP, and Mewtwo showed a strange unwillingness to use Psychic against that Pokemon. I honestly think I could have incapacitated him over the course of several Surfs.) I-It was all for story purposes!

...Yulong. :(

...He lives on in the official end-of-run save file, however, and that's what counts!

(Literally at the very last battle...)

...I can look on the bright side, and that's that it's well-suited to the end of the story, and that through a damn lucky providence, he gets to live on despite that. Just watching over Syaoran from the heavens, rather than traveling with him any longer.

Well, Syaoran knew he'd have to depart sometime. I set that up in the part in which he evolved, but excused it with his fighting along Syaoran due to gratitude over the service Syaoran had shown him when he was a mere Magikarp.

So it all works out, I guess.

Just wish I'd not mucked up the Epilogue... but, on the bright side, because it's non-canon, I can always redo it. Syaoran has one of his bad premonitions, wakes up, decides to make extra-sure he's got the Master Ball, trains with the Elite Four [out-of-universe: so that Reservoir has the correct levels to enable the Max Repels to work all the way through], and only then heads off to the Unknown Dungeon in Cerulean Cave. It works either way.

Well, that will be my last (and first! XD) Nuzlocke for a while - because, when I get some spare time, it's on to Pokemon Y!
