Whoa! I can't use my own computer, so I fixed my laptop (don't know how, surely with some dark magic), and found many new entries here ;D
Glad your laptop's fixed! :)

It was strange to read the quotation and find my own thoughts on it below, in your comment. And it happened many times.
Really? Huh, that's good to hear!

Your analysis is discerning and really thoughtful.
Thank you!

As always, I enjoyed your sarcastic notes, especially enumerating "Alas! Pity me!" bits ;D
He really opened himself up for calling-out with his €"What I am doing here is not a plea for sympathy, nor an excuse, nor any attempt to weasel my way out of anything." line. Surely he realized his readers could remember that sentence for more than three seconds?
And "Gollum" killed me ;D
XD That one was somewhat of an accident, actually. I only realized later that he meant "the finding" to refer to 'the finding [of the Red Book of Westmarch]'; in the context of LOTR, I naturally assumed he meant 'the finding [OF THE ONE RING]'. Therefore... :P
(It is funnier that way, however. And rather accurate, considering his personality.)

Yes, and now I'm back to Harry Potter. I feel like maniac, commenting only on entries that have something to do with HP. And I'm not even in the fandom now, despite translating The Fic.
Ah, I know the feeling. I'm not really in the fandom any more, but I feel like I should stick around just in case I get the inspiration to do some fics I wanted to do back in the good old days. *shrug*

That's my favourite *falls of the chair*
*snerk* Out of the three best-students-of-their-eras, one wanted to be a Dark Lord when he was younger (Albus), one became a Dark Lord (Tom), and the third is keeping her career options open (Hermione). ;D [Seriously, given Hermione's canon bossy personality and willingness to bend the rules for a greater good, J.K.R. was being a bit silly in setting up those parallels. She has all the traits of the previous two, minus a [visible] lust for conquest...]

Glad you liked the snarky answers! :D Good to hear from you!
