Undocumented No-Marts run demolished in fine form.

(I was using a hack of Red that had no effects beyond cosmetic color alterations. Get it here, if you like.)

Causalities:
BIG NESS, L52 Lapras (gift from a Silph employee) - died weakening Rival's Blastoise enough for PSYCHIC to take it down. Wouldn't have died if I had more Hyper/Max Potions, but so it goes. Took down Lorelei, Lance, and Bruno's Onixes.
D , L20 Diglett - died of stupidity versus a Trainer's Raticate, as I recall. Overestimated remaining ability to take hits.
MACHI, L23 Machop (caught in Rock Tunnel) - died of stupidity versus Giovanni's Kangashkan at the Rocket Hideout. Comet Punch did much more damage than I expected.
Team Members:
PSYCHIC, L56 Hypno (caught east of Vermillion). Killed everything that moved.
ROCKNROLL, L41 Graveler (caught in Mt. Moon). Killed ALMOST everything that moved.
HM SERVANT, L17 Spearow (caught outside Mt. Moon). Existed solely for Fly. Was fortunately a legitimate catch.
CHER, L40 Charizard (gift from Professor Oak). INCREDIBLY good in early game, where it looked like it would be a Charmander/Charmeleon/Charizard solo, and maintained level lead through Lt. Surge - was L30 by the S.S. Anne. However, as ROCKNROLL became more trained, it began to lag, and by the end it was more a burden than a help. (*pointedly* It learns Flamethrower at L46?! Did no one on the game balance team think that was a bit LATE?)
ABSORB, L32 Gloom (caught north of Nugget Bridge). *sigh* I had such hopes, especially when she was only a few levels below CHER by around Rock Tunnel, but it turned out that ABSORB just doesn't have the power to carry a Pokemon forward. Invaluable, but ultimately just a Cut HM Slave.
Box Warmers:
AERONAUTIC, L30 Aerodactyl | TAJNELM, L30 Kabuto | SNARK, L30 Snorlax | CHUN, L30 Hitmonchan | EOS, L25 Eevee

...and the illegal catch, an L10 Clefairy. I'm sorry, guys. I just couldn't resist catching it when it looked so adorable. *wibble* (I ended up running from every Clefairy after that. I have a hard time brutalizing such cuteness.)
Rest assured that I didn't benefit from it at all, as I never used it and it used up one of my esssential six PokeBalls.
That's right, folks. I only got six PokeBalls and one Great Ball throughout the entire freaking GAME.
And I only got the six PokeBalls because I had learned online that, if you don't buy any PokeBalls and don't catch any Pokemon before you defeat your Rival on Route 22 (first time), Professor Oak will give you five free PokeBalls if you turn right around and go to chat with him.

See, this wasn't just a No-Marts run. This was an [effective] No-MONEY Run, which is why BIG NESS needed to be my Ice Beam spammer. I excused the Fresh Water purchase to get past the guards as 'in-universe, I got it from a stream'; again in-universe, I 'snuck into' the Safari Zone to get the Warden's Gold Teeth, which is why I caught no Safari Zone Pokemon. [Due to persistently taking a wrong turn, I ended up spending $2500 there anyway. Stop laughing.]
For this reason, I was also unable to acquire Gyarados, which, surprisingly enough, aided me in not using Pokemon I had used previously. Diglett crumpled here as I thought Ambassador would in Syaoran's run, and HM SLAVE (initially named AB or some other silly thing) fell into disuse when PSYCHIC handled all the Fighting-types and CHER handled all the Grass-types that LEERSPEAR had handled in the prior run. This was a very good thing, as it enabled me to try out some new Pokemon. :D

TMs used were Thunderbolt [on BIG NESS] and Dream Eater [on PSYCHIC]. HMs used are obvious.

...This was fun (and freakishly speedy, in comparison to Syaoran - only about 20-30 hours in-game, i.e. 2-3 hours in real life with constant Turbo Button abuse), if nuts. DEFINITELY sloppier than Syaoran - three deaths! - but more efficient, in an odd sense. I demolished the entire E4 with two Pokemon, two Full Restores, two Hyper Potions, and... about three Max Potions. Definitely not more than four, because I couldn't obtain more than that.

Reasonably impressive, considering that they were L49 and ~L53 going in!

Pictured: An amusing glitch. Either because it's there naturally or because the hack-maker accidentally altered a smidgen of data, the ramp on the RHS of the Fuchsia City Pokemon Center was in fact walkable.
No, I didn't attempt to see if I could summon wild Pokemon on it.
