I don't think so. If she did, she might realize Ash and team rocket are in the same boat. They both made mistakes, (team rocket more so) but deep down they are decent people, driven by the love of pokemon. I was browsing through youtube the other day, and saw a clip of Ash jumping off the roof of a huge building just to try and save pikachu.

And doesn't Cory say herself in a later fic that someone that loves thier pokemon so much can't possibly have evil in thier hearts?
