China locks Tibetan monks in monastery for 'political re-education'
Be of good cheer, Master Ridley, and play the man! We shall this day light such a candle, by God's grace, in England, as I trust shall never be put out.
Hundreds of monks are getting locked in. And for what? Because one of their number dared publish a book about some Tibetian monks setting themselves on fire as a form of protest against the Chinese authorities.
Signal boost, or at least give thanks that you live in a country in which you can signal boost in ways other than "lighting such a candle".
