I have to update a Harry Potter fic of mine on AO3 one of these days, but to procrastinate get inspired, I ended up making a playlist themed around the (future) plot, so... Here goes?

...I'm actually not sure why the last song is on there, since the main character does not care about forgiveness in the slightest, but it's always been the one I've associated with that plot. It's especially odd because it should be associated with Hand of Sorrow instead (it's even named after the song!), but The Truth Beneath The Rose is the one that always feels tied in. Oh well.

So that I'm not just boring you guys - what songs do you associate with your stories?

Double yay! One for Within Temptation's songs. Second for "Veteran of psychic wars". I didn't even know that the version I tend to listen to is a cover, I'm going to have to check out Blue Oyster Cult, ha! ;)

Is this a dark!Harry fic?

Well, I'm writing a ficlet for a prompt (I hope that's the right word) and the theme song is "Milk" by Garbage. I am lost, so I am cruel. But I'd be love and sweetness if I had you. The "plot": year 1899, Christmas time (that was requested), Aberforth at Hogwarts, Albus at home, still waiting for Gellert to return. Actually the story is Elphias's POV. He comes to "take care" of his friend, so he won't be alone at Christmas, and doesn't seem very welcome. For now at least.
