Honestly, it's as if they think we're STUPID.

We aren't, really. We're just far too aware of Potter's aura of People Die Near Me, and decided to let our Lord take the fall. Er, yes, our "Lord". The maniac.

Mad-Eye Moody died instead, but we can all agree it wasn't worth the risk, eh?

(This is actually a lot funnier than it sounds...
Also, when I put it like this, I realize that I might fall uncomfortably close to the 'Stalking is romantic! :D' category...)

I put "first chapter" in quotation marks because there ended up being a natural chapter-break at the 9,128-word mark. (It would have cut from a character violently vomiting to a bland domestic scene, and from there to the prior character recapping the next few days. ...Sometimes the fic just taps you on the shoulder and says "I'm ready to end the chapter now".)

The PLANNED first-chapter equivalent, however, is going to cover a chunk of backstory necessary to set up the general fic, so I'm guessing 25,000 words for that. In the meantime, I think I'm going to be labeling the next few chapters "Child Without A Name, Part [X]".

Of course, it has to actually get up to two finished chapters before I can really start making any silly noises about what I'll name the next few chapters...

What sorts of non-lovemaking activities do they do together?
What kinds of things do they talk about when they're together?
What dreams and goals do they share?
What dreams and goals do they have that they do not share?
How many children does each partner want? Have they discussed this? If not, why?
What other plans do they have for the future? Which ones have they discussed? Why and/or why not?
What are the most difficult situations they have faced together so far? How did they overcome them?
What are some of their best memories together so far?
What things do they do that get on each others' nerves?
What views do your characters disagree on? How do they reconcile their differences in opinions?
What sorts of things did they or do they get into arguments or fights over?
How do they reconcile after arguments or fights?
How do they each react when the other is in pain or is troubled? What do they do to help the other?
What is the biggest potential threat to their relationship? What is the most likely threat?
What would each partner be willing to change about xirself for the other? What wouldn't they be willing to change for each other?
