It is the
Golden Sun: Dark Dawn of the Pokemon series. The GAMEPLAY is fine. The GAMEPLAY is good.
BUT NOBODY EVER STOPS TALKING. It is more padded than Twilight. Than the Draco Trilogy. Than ANYTHING except for an Anita Blake novel. I swear I have literally spent AS MUCH TIME tapping through UNSKIPPABLE conversations as ACTUALLY PLAYING THE GAME.
If you have a bizarre compulsion to cause yourself acute boredom and pain... good grief, why are you reading this post rather than playing a Fire Emblem game on the highest difficulty setting? :P But more seriously, oh gad,
who thought the incessant redundant dialogue was a great idea?
Maybe it's just the first hour (or two) that's so tortuous, but I'm not eager to hang in to find out.
Etrian Odyssey calls...
(In all seriousness, some of the new features of the gameplay seem VERY interesting... but considering that I swear I was beginning to go red in the face from anger at the constant blithering, I just can't stand this. Dear Game Designers: If you're going to fill the game with babbling,
GIVE PEOPLE AN OPTION TO SKIP THE DIALOGUE!)
