...Apparently my mind has snapped and decided it wants to see Link/Ruto fic.
*sigh* Thought too much about a childhood OC whose entire gimmick was being the child of Link and Ruto.
Strangely enough, there isn't too much of that pairing. *shrug* Suppose the Link/Zelda shippers are a bigger contingent? (Not that I mind, but still...)
Makes me think, though - it's not true that shipping is distributed evenly amongst main contestants, as Link/Zelda probably dominates OOT hetfic. True, a chunk of that is Ruto being not human, but that doesn't always stop people.If she was a bunnygirl rather than a fishgirl, they'd have to beat the furries away with clubs. It does have to do with personality and perceived compatibility, not just 'lolshippers'.
