Chapter 8: ( Read more... )Note: I've been trying to catch weaker characters up on Exp. Hence why levels haven't gone up that much. I realize I'm going to screw myself over if I'm not careful, but Sully is very good and can handle a lot of situations. (She's better than Frederick in every stat save Defense [one point] now.)
I have almost a full team by now. Tharja should push me over. ...I don't
like using Tharja for the same reason I don't like using Gregor - their stats are wonk and I don't feel like they're particularly good at anything. However, beggars can't be choosers, and I need all the ladies I can get.
Even Say'ri. Ugh. After all, if I get enough high-powered women, I'll have enough units to survive Tiki's Paralogue. And more Manaketes NEVER hurt. (Unless you're Jahn and your enemies are carting Divine Weapons. But that's off-topic.)
I hate hate hate hate HATE axe-wielders. They do way too much damage to my Pegasus Knights (since they can hit due to Weapon Triangle Advantage), they do horrible things to squishy units, and I don't have many sword-users to counter them. One of said sword-users is so overpowered I make a point of NOT using her. (A Robin solo is probably easier than one would think. Just grab the free Second Seal from the Renown awards [which I haven't accessed, by the way] when she first hits level 20, use a Master Seal when she hits it again, and generally just let her max out all her caps like she's freaking Donnel.) Just... gaaaaah. They're no longer a joke when you're using only ladies.
The title is a lot less indicative than I thought it would be. You sacrifice a lot of bulk
AND SWORD-WIELDERS when you give up the male characters, but careful planning keeps the ladies alive. Besides, Sully's pretty bulky, and Robin is
always overpowered. (15 Defense. Mweh heh heh. Choke on that, Frederick.) It's possible... just be prepared for a few losses if you're playing for keeps. (And if you're not a very good tactician. :\ *blergh*)
