'The Room' has the strange distinction that I really believe the main actress's reactions.
That is, when Lisa is giving Johnny strange and vaguely terrified looks, I really believe it's because Tommy Wiseau was freaking the actress out. ...Actually, every time somebody looks freaked out, I believe it's because Tommy Wiseau is creeping them out.
