[If you don't understand WTH is going on with Something Awful's vocabulary, they have a word filter up for non-users to prevent filtering software from cutting them off. A partial key [as far as I can tell] is below:

I imagine this is what the really awesome fan-made hacks must feel like - it's like playing Pokemon Black, but with many more Pokemon available, new areas, new 'bosses', new features, a new plot... :D

Some general notes:
- Riolu starts slow, but Lucario is really good.
- Also, Leavanny is bizarrely good in-game for a low-Tier Pokemon. That 103 base ATK might have something to do with it.
- PokeStar Studios is basically an "infinite Lemonades" cheat that takes some time to input. Glorious.
- Trapinch is pretty good, but it will be out of work soon. Hello again, Drilbur, my old friend, it's good to see you in the party again...
-- So why did I like Trapinch? Because a Ground-type that could use Rock Slide was brutal, brutal revenge on my traumatic memories of the Electric-type Gym the first time around. Kiss the fleeting stead of OHKO, wretched Emolgas! >8D
- Flaffy, er... please evolve so you become a decent Electric-type? D: 'Cause I know you can be good, and I'm willing to ignore Tier lists for Electric-types... I really don't like Magnezone's looks, and was... unimpressed... by the Tynamo line last go-round...
- *twitch* Smogon, what do you mean Huge Power Azumarill outranks Samurott? I... in that case... Did that precious widdle Azumarill have Huge Power? D: My poor baby, I shouldn't have boxed you...

Anyway, yes, recommended if you have the spare time and/or cash. I've beaten the fifth Gym, and am now currently in search of a Tynamo for the sake of having caught one. Whee!

In early playtests, the author relates how one person introduced psychic vampires in time zeppelins, which, while awesome, was not part of the intended universe.

See, I KNOW from the last game that I need an Elite-Four-ready team, which must be able to smash Psychic-types, Dark-types, Fighting-types, and Ghost-types. This forces something that can dish out Dark moves, Psychic or Flying moves, and Bug or Fighting moves. Else, I'll wind up in a world of hurt.

I also need Dragon or Ice moves for Drayden/Iris, but that's another matter.

I have Lucario locked in for Fighting moves, but I have NO Psychics, I don't know whether I'll end up using N's Zoroark or a caught Deino for Dark (likely Zoroark, since Deino takes so bleeping long to evolve), and I have nothing that can STAB against Fighting. *mutter mutter*
